Fall 2013

Dr. Fike

Readings are in Ways of Reading, 9th ed., unless otherwise indicated. WA stands for Writing Analytically. Nosich is the author of Learning to Think Things Through: A Guide to Critical Thinking Across the Curriculum. All texts for this class are on reserve at the library. You should print out linked handouts and bring them to class. Turnitin.com information: class I.D. 6723953; password "winthrop." Note that there is one link for both sections.

Important reminder: "If you come in late (after the door is closed), you will have already been marked absent, and that mark counts as a FULL absence unless you say the following to the professor after class: 'Dr. Fike, I came in late today. Please change my absence mark to a tardy mark.'"
