SECTION IV: What is it worth?
In this section of the course, we delve into the world of value and specifically questions concerning how to act and live well. These practical matters are of course interesting in their own right, but also promise to help us to improve the quality of our lives. We examine a range of theories, including the three primary theories of moral goodness, those developed by Aristotle, Kant, and Bentham. In addition, we consider the existentialist and even radical ethical views of Kierkegaard and Sartre.
