Most of my current research involves women's manuscripts,
images, and literate activities in the late English Middle Ages. I am completing
(tortuously) a monograph with the working title Lerned Books and Lewed Women:
Literacy, Gender, and Rhetoric in Late Medieval England, which will be
finished in 2008-2009 (or Heads Will Roll). I've also been working toward
completing another poetry chapbook about my experiences over the last few years; it
has the working title Nine Days' Wonder. (Click
here to see my current CV ;
many of my academic writings are linked on it.) And I recently
took
a class in the book arts and have discovered a real
passion for tearing up large sheets of expensive paper and stabbing them with
needles. This is probably dangerous.
Some of my recent poems have been published in anthologies by Old Mountain Press and Yarroway Mountain Press. You can click the pictures below to find out more.

lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.
