The right to a First Amendment,
freedom of speech and freedom of the press, is not one shared by
all people in this world. Instead it is something that
many strongly wish to possess so that they may speak even the most
simple dissent against their governments. As American citizens, it is
imperative that people recognize their privilege and, as the need
arises, take full advantage of their right to freedom of speech, freedom
of the press, freedom of religion, and freedom of assembly while
remembering those who have fought so hard to provide and maintain the
right. |
