Additional Requirements

Checkpoints

As Web authors, we all should comply with Section 508 requirements and should strive to meet Priority 1 Checkpoints of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). To ensure that the widest possible audience can easily access sites, Web authors should aim to meet Priority 2 Checkpoints. To learn more about the accessibility checkpoints, visit the W3C Web site.

Priorities

Priorities as defined on the "Checklist of Checkpoints for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0" Web page:

checkmark  [Priority 2]
A Web content developer should satisfy this checkpoint. Otherwise, one or more groups will find it difficult to access information in the document. Satisfying this checkpoint will remove significant barriers to accessing Web documents.
checkmark  [Priority 3]
