Dr. Mark Mitchell

 

Mark Mitchell is an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership. Dr. Mitchell is a retired Superintendent of Schools from Missouri where he spent over 20 years as a High School Principal and Superintendent of Schools. Mitchell came to Winthrop in June 2005 and is program director for the Educational Leadership Program. While at Winthrop Dr. Mitchell has received two presidential citations and the Richard W. Riley College of Education Award for Collaboration and Service.

Dr. Mary B. Martin Served 30 years in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System. The last positions held in CMS were as an elementary principal and the Director of Elementary Curriculum and Instruction.
