Student who wish to seek admission to Pi Gamma Mu must meet the following criteria:

• All Winthrop University juniors, seniors or graduate students
• Must have completed at least twenty (20) or more semester hours within the social sciences.
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPS within the above mentioned courses
• Class rank in the upper 35% of the class.
• The social sciences which determine eligibility are within the disciplines of:
  • history
  • political science
  • sociology
  • anthropology
  • economics
  • criminal justice
  • social work
  • psychology
  • geography
