about me

I completed a BA in the Department of Geography at Laurentian University in Sudbury (1997) with a specialization in GIS and remote sensing. Building on my undergraduate degree I began my MA in geography in the Waterloo-Laurier Graduate Program in Geography at Wilfrid Laurier University in the fall of 2000 with a specilization in spatial data handling and analysis. I completed my PhD in Geography in 2009 at Wilfrid Laurier University with a specialization in urban economics and retail structural anlaysis.

At present I am appointed as Instructor of Geography within the Department of Human Nutrition at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. I am the only full-time geographer on campus and as result I responsible for the coordination of the geography minor.
