- Initiated department internship program; developed new courses;
redesigned curricula; developed joint major in Economics and Mathematics.

developed and maintained computerized data base of department alumni.

- University Senate: student affairs committee; academic affairs
committee; helped develop and write university policies on
academic standards, course syllabi, course withdrawals, class attendance, grade appeals, academic
integrity, and class disruptions.
- Admissions: coordinated faculty representation and spoke at all
Visitation Programs and Exploration Day Programs for prospective students

procedures
- Student Cooperative Association Finance Committee: member and chair;
rewrote and administered guidelines for the allocation of $2 million in
annual student activity fees; chaired committee to develop special funding
guidelines for varsity athletics.

- Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) -- Interim Associate Provost
(1994-95):
- Was responsible for
Admissions, Office of the Registrar, Academic Information Systems, and Institutional
Research. These areas contained approximately 12 professionals and 30 clerical/secretarial
staff members with non-personnel budgets exceeding $500,000 annually. Administered
the Grade Appeals Process and handled miscellaneous student problems in the academic
arena. Among my achievements were:
- Recruited largest freshman class in IUP history.
- Revamped recruitment process for admitted students;
- Developed complete set of award-winning admission publications and new recruitment
video.
- Directed complete revision of IUP Scholarship policies.
