Dr. Cara Peters holds a BA in
Management from Luther College, and an MBA and PhD in Business
Administration from the University of Nebraska. She has
taught Principles of Marketing, Advertising, E-commerce,
Consumer Behavior, Marketing Management, and Market Research at
both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Her first
teaching position was at the University of Georgia. She
then moved to the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.
She became a faculty member at Winthrop University in the Fall
of 2004. Dr. Peters has published in numerous conference
proceedings and peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal
of Consumer Psychology, Consumption, Markets, and Culture,
and the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science.
Dr. Peters currently teaches Principles of
Marketing, Electronic Commerce, and Marketing Management (EMBA).
