Torque was commissioned by conductor Alan Yamamoto and the Charlotte Civic Orchestra. This is an excerpt from a recording done by the Kiev Philharmonic, with Robert Winstin conducting, for an upcoming release on the Masterworks of the New Era Volume 17 CD.

Instances was written for pianist Tomoko Deguchi and Lorrie Crochet, the conductor of the Winthrop Wind Symphony. This excerpt is approximately the last two minutes of the piece as performed and recorded by the Winthrop Wind Symphony, Lorrie Crochet conducting, with Tomoko Deguchi as soloist. This recording of Instances will be featured on an upcoming Eagle Editions CD produced by Winthrop University's Department of Music.

Afterimage 7 was commissioned by the Cincinnati-based Next Ens. This is an excerpt from a recording of a live performance by the Next Ens in Minneapolis, MN.

• Off on a Tangent... (excerpt)...

Off on a Tangent... was commissioned by the Red Clay Saxophone Quartet. This is approximately the first two minutes of the piece as performed by the Red Clay in spring, 2008 during their residency at Winthrop University.

Fringe was commissioned by the South Carolina Music Teachers Association. This excerpt is from a performance at the Society of Composers, Inc. National Conference UNC-Greensboro, NC in 2007. The performers are Tomoko Deguchi - piano, Phil Thompson - clarinet and alto saxophone, and James Cannon - percussion.

• Anacoustic Zones (excerpt)...

Anacoustic Zones was written for the 17th annual Florida Electroacoustic Music Festival. It was realized at the Winthrop University Computer Music Studio in spring 2008. It is an electroacoustic work which utilizes spectral accumulation and evaporation techniques I developed and coded using MaxMSP.

• ...drift... (excerpt)...
|
...drift... was commissioned by the Force of Nature artist residency project. It was premiered by pianist Tomoko Deguchi on the occasion of the gallery opening for Force of Nature at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. This excerpt is from the last two minutes of a live performance by Deguchi at her 2007 piano recital at Winthrop University.
