No class, but  go to library, spend time with the book on reserve, Where Children Sleep,  and  if you haven't decided on a a photograph of one child's bedroom to analyze, please do.  Whether you  still need to pick a photograph or have already chosen one,  spend time brainstorming, investigating ,analyzing your chosen photograph while at the library.  Bring you  written investigations to next class.

REMEMBER:  EXTRA CREDIT FOR ATTENDING ONE OF TWO PRESENTATIONS OFERED BY VISITING POET DERICK BURLESON--  HIS TALK AT COMMON TIME ON OCT.9 IN OWENS 101, FROM 11:00-12:00 PM, AND HIS READING AT THE LITTLE CHAPEL FROM 7:00-8:00 PM.  CULTURAL EVENTS CREDIT FOR BOTH.

Due:  1-2 sentence paraphrase from Mollison's paragraph about the child whose sleeping space your are analyzing.  Remember to write down Mollison's sentences first, then your paraphrase of those sentences.

Class meets in library to research current sources.  Remember, you will need to spend more time on your own outside of class researching for the most authoritative and  well developed sources.

Due: copies of all sources that you intend to use in your position paper-either for information/background on the issue, for support of your position, or helping you understand your opposing positions in order to develop the concession/refutation section of your argument.
