Come to class with a clear subject  chosen for essay1, along with brainstorming about your subject.  NEED LOTS OF BRAINSTORMING!  You will share your choice with class.

Due: 1-2 pages in response to Box on p.66.  Makes sure you give specific support to the essay you think an effective example of an autobiographical essay.

We will also complete a strong verb workshop.

Due: copies of 3-4 sources that you intend to use in your position paper-either for information/background on the issue, for support of your position, or helping you understand your opposing positions in order to develop the concession/refutation section of your argument.
