Re:       App Design Project (ADP) Instructions

You have been assigned to a team in the R & D office of the Eagle Corporation. Your task is to develop an app for either the iPhone, Android, or the Windows phone. You should perceive your task as having three phases: market analysis, conceptualization, and foolproof written instructions on use. The team should elect a project coordinator and should agree on the assignment of tasks. 

You should strive for innovation in the creation of your product; it should fill a gap in the current app market or substantially improve an existing app. Your end product will consist of two parts:  

1.  Snapshots of the home page and at least two other pages, either computer-generated or drawn by hand.

2.   A set of foolproof instructions that include the snapshots that the 75-year old chair of the board of trustees, who does not own or use any mobile device, will be able to follow. He must approve the design  selected.

Your project is due at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13.  The ADP will be evaluated on originality of the concept; strength of need fulfillment; and the clarity, attractiveness, and user friendliness of the instructions. To encourage all members of the team to participate their fair share in the project, you will complete a confidential evaluation of each of the members of your team. The results of those evaluations will be taken into consideration when assigning individual grades for the project. You will receive a grade for the project only upon receipt of all documentation.

Remember, good concepts and instructions are the result of a cooperative effort.
