     I hope you’re feeling better in the hospital. I know you’ve been sick for such a long time. It was almost seven years ago when you got cancer for the first time. You’ve tried almost every treatment known: a mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiation, alternative medicine…and you’re still dying. Mommy, at school today during free time I made you a Mother’s Day card. I’ve already gotten you a present. It’s your favorite perfume. I know you’ll like it. Mommy, please stay here just a little while longer. Next Sunday is Mother’s Day. I want you to be here.
