Whanne ŝou art stered to don amys, bihold ŝi silf & ŝenk on ŝi[s]:
Bihold wher of ŝu art wrou3t & se ŝi lenyng what it is.
Seie & sorwe weel ŝou mou3t, and morne for ŝi dedis mys.
Naked heder were ŝou brou3t; so schalt ŝou hennes wende, y wis.

Whane ŝu art mys mewed in ŝi ŝou3t , bi hold ŝi silf and ŝenk on ŝis:
Bihold what god haŝ don for ŝe , and se his goodnesse what it is:
To die wiŝ deel uppon a tre for to bryng ŝee to his blis.
It was gret loue, so ŝinkeŝ me, so sore to suffre for serwant his.

Whan ŝou art mys moued, wherof it be, bihold ŝisilf and ŝenk o[n ŝis]:
Bihold hou frele ŝou art to falle^. To folewe fondyng is al ŝi blis,
and to ŝe feende ŝu makest ŝee ŝralle, and lesest ŝe joye ŝat to ŝe ordeyned [ys].
God spareŝ ŝee 3it ŝat deme ŝee schal to spille ŝee for ŝi dedis my[s].

If ŝu wilt leue ŝi synnes alle, bihold ŝi silf and ŝenk on ŝis:
Bihold how litil tyme ŝee is lent ŝi lyf to lede in worldly blys.
Ŝou nost how sone ŝou schalt be after sent and ŝu wrecche wiŝ wormes to wo[n ywys]_.
Ŝu schalt naut haue whan ŝu art went but ŝi goede dedis and ŝi my[s].

In folye to falle whan ŝou art ment, bihold ŝi silf and ŝenk on ŝi[s]:
Bihold in man is litil trust- now hool, now sik, now deed he is-
to leue whanne hym likeŝ best; sodeynly he wendeŝ, y wis.
His bodi to rote in erŝe schal reste; his soule schal wende to pey[n y wis].

If ŝou wilt do weel whyle ŝi lyf last, bihold ŝi silf and ŝenk on [ŝis]:
Bihold, 3e alle, and takeŝ hede ŝe ende of man, what it is.
While he walkeŝ in riche wede, wonder workus he worcheŝ, y wy[s];
but whanne his body schal wormes fede, who wole helpe hym wiŝ [mys]
but feynt frendes and fals at nede. Bihold ŝi silf and ŝenk on ŝi[s]!
