Survey Assignment 
Required Revision Assignment

Collecting primary data to support your report is a major emphasis of WRIT 465, and the survey-writing process is explained in detail in the handout packet. This assignment requires you to turn in TWO pieces of work:

1. A cover memo (formatted according to Component Chapter A) addressed to me that explains whom you have chosen to survey, why, how many questionnaires you will distribute, and how and when you will distribute and retrieve the questionnaires. This memo need be no longer than a paragraph or two in length. Note: If you plan to give out your questionnaires in a public place like a campus building or a mall, please indicate how you have obtained permission to do so.

2. A copy of your questionnaire, formatted just as you intend to distribute it. At least six questions are expected.

Bring five copies of your questionnaire to class on the assigned date (February 20). The best way to test questions for accuracy is to Apilot@ them, and we will be your pilot audience. Please note the penalties described on your syllabus for failing to bring in a rough draft on the required due date.
