Underlining and Italics

1. Place disk into the hard drive. Press space bar to retreive main menu.

2. Choose option #1 "Word Perfect 5.0". Begin tying on the clear screen until you reach the word(s) that need to be underlined.

3. Press CTRL F8 and choose option #2 "appearance"

4. Again, choose option #2 "Underline". Type the word(s) to be underlined.
These words will appear in a black box.

5. To resume regular print, press CTRL F8. Choose Option #3 "Normal."

*If italicizing rather than underlining repeat steps 1-3.

4. Choose option #4 "Italics". Type the word(s) to be italicized. These

words will appear in red on the screen.

5. To resume normal print, press CTRL F8. Choose option #3 "Normal."
