The picture to the picture to teh left was taken ca. 1991. It is interesting to note the somewhat idiosyncratic order of medal mounting which he displays: Sainya Seva Medal (India, no medal), VC, Indian Independence Meda 1947l, 1939-45 Star, Burma Star, War Medal 1939-45, Indian Service Medal, Coronation 1952 (?, no medal).
He died 6 October 1996, in Jullundur, Punjab, India. His obituary was published in The Times (London) on 16 October 1996.
