Dr. Gordon has several major research interests. He teaches a course on foreign language pedagogy and gives presentations regularly at conferences such as the Southern Conference on Language Teaching and the Central States Conference. His studies contemporary society in the Francophone world and French-language cinema. In addition, he is currently researching Ladino language and literature and contemporary Cuban society.
