Teaching and Research Interests
Dr. Gordon serves as Professor and Chair of Modern Languages at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He teaches French, Spanish, and courses on foreign language pedagogy. He gives presentations regularly at conferences such as the Southern Conference on Language Teaching and the Central States Conference. His areas of research and study include contemporary society in the Francophone world, French-language cinema, Ladino language and literature, and contemporary Cuban society. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Southern Conference on Language Teaching (SCOLT), coordinates the annual conference evaluations, and is president-elect for the term beginning March 2010.
