Optional HTML Extra Credit - up to 40 points
Create a simple page with the following features - 10 points each
1. A clearly marked and working link to your HTML2 page. (5 pts) Use an inline style to change the appearance of the link (4 pts). You must identify the property you chose. (1 pt) See Table 5.2 in the HTML book for ideas. Add a link from your homepage to this page.
2. A 3-item ordered or unordered list (4 pts) with the default bullets changed (3 pts), using an embedded style (3 pts).
3. A three row - 3 column table with borders. (4 pts) Include a picture (2 pts) with pop-up test (2 pts) in at least one cell of the table. Place some text in every cell of the table. (2 pts)
4. Insert some dynamic text below the table using a script from http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex10/ Use "Crtl A" to Select All where instructed at the site.
You will only receive credit for the assignment if you also do the following
A. Place the file on birdnest. The file will only be graded if I can access it from birdnest. Due by class start time!
B. Submit the page link through Blackboard (open the file on birdnest then cut and paste the URL). Place the link under Assignment Materials, Submission. No attachment is needed, the file must be on birdnest to receive credit. Get others not on your computer to test accessing the page.
C. Print out the notepad file. Associate the code with each of
the page requirements by name and number. Individually circle or highlight the
code that corresponds to each of items 1-4.
For ex: circle the code that creates the
link and mark it #1 Link to HTML2, background color changed to green
For #4 also identify the dynamic affect you
inserted.
D. The printed notepad file and the file on birdnest must match. Get others to test accessing the file on birdnest.
Note: This is a great opportunity to improve your grade or to cushion an already good grade. I will answer questions but please do not wait until the last minute.
