HTML Assignment (100 points)

Follow all instructions. One sign of a computer fluent person is the ability to follow instructions. Employers want employees that can think critically and solve problems. Be that person!

Avoid academic misconduct. Remember this is an individual assignment, if you have questions please ask me. Do not share your code with other students.

You will create your webpage using a plain text editor such as notepad.

 

Specific Page Contents and Instructions

I. {html1.html}

  1. A page title using <title> tags in the <head> section                             (10 points)
  2. Two headers with different colors and fonts using style properties        (10 points)
  3. A table with borders and with at least three rows and three columns    (10 points)
  4. An image in one cell of your table. Make sure the image is not copyrighted. (10 points)
  5. Put words or pictures in every table cell to make it display correctly.            (5 points)
  6. An ordered list of at least 3 items with information about yourself (you can make it up)
  7.                        (ordered list – 5 pts,  3 items -5 points)

  8. An unordered list of links:                                                                    (unordered list – 5 points)
  9. ·         A link to your e-mail address                                            (working link - 5 points)

    ·         A link to a web page of your choice                                  (working link - 5 points)

  10. Two paragraphs about how you avoid unethical behavior when using computers (using paragraph tags) (thoughtful/researched -10 points)
  11. Include some bold text in your paragraphs                                            (10 points)
  12. Include some formatted text, other than bold, in the paragraphs             (10 points)

         Submit your file(s) through Blackboard as attachments

         To submit, attach the html file and the Image(picture), if it is a local file, in a single submission

         You should verify that all links work before submitting
