Group Mini Debates

The class will break itself into six groups. Groups should be 3, 4, or 5 students in size.

Dannelly will assign each group to defend either yes or no for one of following three questions:

A - Should Google Inc. cooperate with the Chinese government's efforts to censor the world wide web?

B - Should the US Congress enact an Online Privacy Bill of Rights?

C - Should the US Congress grant the FCC authority to enforce net neutrality rules?

  5. question 2 from "yes", ...
  6. question 2 from "no", ...
  7. question 3 from "yes", ...
  8. question 3 from "no", ...
  9. questions from audience to each team
  10. 1 minute conference
  11. 3 minute concluding statement by "yes"
  12. 3 minute concluding statement by "no"
